Tour to Horam

Rather a depleted crew for this tour which took place on Thursday 17th August Cynthia was off somewhere enjoying herself with the grandkids and Babs was in hospital so Sid did not join us. This left Choppo of course plus George and Ita, Charlie and Stan.

The usual ramble through the country lanes eventually found us at Horam, a place Dennis had known from way back. The Horam Inn proved to be a friendly place and the snacks well worth while.

After a few hours and a few drinks there we ambled down to the coast and up again where we landed in the Rose and Crown Cuckfield as George and Ita wanted to see the guvnor. This was turning into a bit of a pub crawl as we then meandered back to Crawley and the Snooty Fox where we enjoyed a little more liquid and a pleasant meal courtesy of George
